BE-ing Grounded

See the trend but do not panic.
I repeat:
Do Not Panic.
You have more time than they say you have.
News machines are contagious.
Research.
Research the contagion.
Be sure that the contagious contagion is worth the drama.
You have time to window shop.
Most of your life is--and will be--spent waiting.
Just because something is repeated and hammered to death every minute and every second of our waking day does not mean the medium is magically moving any faster.
It is perfectly safe to consume less frequently--or even abandon the vehicle.
Don't forget to tuck, drop and roll.
Time.
You do have it.
Time.
It is not lost.
Time.
It is not wasted.
But sanity...
Drink it up before the expiration date.
OR
Drink it after the expiration date.

MissNikkiAnn Is Very Sick (cc: @OccupyHartford)

And though my mind and heart want me to be physically active with Occupy Hartford at the Turning Point Park occupation site, my Dysautonomia (a progressive and chronic illness) prevents me from doing so at this time.

I am with my fellows in spirit, and will continue to do what I can to support and further the work we are doing.  Occupy Hartford is an amazing and talented group of diverse people.  And regardless of the false image that Mass Media (not true journalists) wants to project, those within the cause know the truth.  And as the numbers grow, more and more we will begin to ignore the vanity of the media, and seek not their approval, but the approval of those wanting to delve deeper into the myriad of issues that are darkening the spirits of humankind.

Compassion and solidarity are the true answer, and if anyone tries to convince you otherwise, I'd take a closer look into that person's personal motive.

Operation Mass Media Boycott, Day 1: Cannot Trust Every Doctor

I thought this video very fitting being that it's about reclaiming one's life; as we reclaim our choices/time/resource. It all goes hand-in-hand, taking back your mental freedom, which affects your physical reality. We are natural consumers who have been manipualted by a media of cannibals. I am not here to preach against garbage consumption--you have free will. I just want you to be able, if you "choose," to see garbage when it's being handed to you on a faux, platinum-plated dinner plate. Just take a closer look at it, marinate on matters and reheat the garbage in the morning (that's what we have radiation for) eating in full pleasure and consciousness.

MissNikkiAnn Boycotts Mass Media: August 15 - 30, 2011 ("Where will you be?")

"We close our eyes and ours ears to what they call journalism." ~Anonymous (Anon)

When? August 15 - 30, 2011

"Where will you be? And to whom will your precious time go? What about all of those things you've been putting off? Quality family time. A walk. Painting. Reading a book. Writing a book. Doing nothing. Sitting in absolute silence."
